Prices

Welcome to the pool.  We hope that you take advantage of the Early Bird Special and join early! The rates still breakdown the same: Household One (H1) is for households with only one person. Household Two (H2) is for households with 2 people and Household Three (H3) is for households with 3 or more people. So, if you are single, you will only have to pay the H1 rate. If there are two people living in you house, you would then only have to pay the H2 rate

We have also developed a weekend rate. This rate is per person and is only usable during the Saturday and Sunday swim times. And as a bonus, all of the above rates (H1, H2, H3, weekend) will receive 5 passes for outside guests. These are one time use passes, but can be used for anyone, including LOR residents. The regular guest fee is $5 per visit to the pool. Residents of LOR cannot be guests of pool members, except with one of the 5 free passes. Out of state guests can swim for free as long as they are with a LOR pool member and have a valid ID, all other guesta are $5 per visit.

Pool Hours

The pool will open the first weekend in May, and will be open the weekends throughout the month of May from 10 am until 8 pm. We will open for the regular season from Memorial Day until Labor Day, and those hours are from 10 am to 9 pm Monday through Thursday, and 10 am to 8 pm Friday through Sunday. We will also be open on the weekends through the month of September. The pool can be rented after hours at a rate of $25 per rental and $20 per hour for lifeguards.

Special Swim Days

On the first Thursday of each month, there will be a special community swim. All residents of Laurel Oak Ranch will have the opportunity to come and swim for free. This will take place all day from 10 am - 9 pm.

Lap Swim

We now have designated times for Lap swim (other parts of the pool will be open during these times also). Each day from 10 am - 12 noon and 5 pm - 7 pm, lap lanes will be available.

Concessions

We will continue to offer concessions this year, and are looking to increase our variety. As last year, we will have the soda fountain, and will offer cold drinks, and hot chocolate. These are available for sale during the swim breaks.

Lifeguards/Pool Managers

We feel the addition of Pool Managers along with the lifeguards has been instrumental in keeping our pool environment pleasant for all. So, if you have any needs, questions or complaints, please let the pool managers know, and we will do what we can to make everyone's visit fun and safe. Please remember that the pool manager also doubles at the concession area during breaks, so be patient with us during that time. The pool manager will be taking money or passes for guests. Please bring your NC ID to the pool to pick up your 2006 pool packet upon your first visit to the pool this year, the pool manager will be handing those out, and getting to know you.

Movie Nights

We will have several movie nights again this year.   Look at the website and the sign at the pool for the dates.    The pool will be open for swimming during the movie, and we will be serving concessions. Keep an eye out for the movie listing. If you have a favorite movie, let us know.
