Archived May, 2004 Highlights from the May, 2004 newsletter: It was resolved that garbage toters may be placed beside the homes near the side door. Homes that are located on corner lots must place the toter on the non-street side of the house. (This change does not apply to the townhomes.)
Work is continuing on the walking trails.
The pool is off to a great start and is planning on several new things this year. We will be having an Adult Swim night, a community Swim Day and a late night family swim each month. If you have any questions, or have not joined the pool, please contact Jeff Smith, Recreation Association President, at 869-5410.
Several homeowners are interested in doing a creek clean-up day. This should be planned around the "Big Sweep" Waterway clean-up on October 2, 2004. Contact your neighbors and do your part in keeping the waterways clean in Laurel Oak Ranch.
January, 2004 Posted below is an excerpt from the January, 2004 newsletter: Convenants to be Enforced This is a reminder that Laurel Oak Ranch has Restrictive Convenants ("the covenants") in place. All homeowners were made aware of the covenants when they purchased a home. Every homeowner signed a document stating they received a copy and would abide by the convenants. During our inspections, we have seen many violations and have contacted individual homeowners responsible. Each time we drive through the neighborhood we find new violations. In order to correct these violations, we have been instructed by the developer to charge fines against those homeowners that do not abide by the convenants. |
